John is a Principal at Northview Capital and Chief Financial Officer of Winternitz Industrial Auctioneers & Appraisers. He has 25 plus years of corporate financial experience, most recently with a privately held family company located in the Chicagoland area. In addition to his financial duties, he also ran the appraisal division of that same company. He and his team have performed thousands of appraisals across many industries including metalworking, construction, transportation, food, pharmaceuticals, packaging, processing, and more.
As a frequent speaker at asset management and asset recovery events, John has been published numerous times for his educated opinions on equipment values. He is well-known by many lenders, workout departments, and appraisal divisions throughout the county for his asset value knowledge. John is a graduate of Hamilton College and lives in the northern suburbs of Chicago with his wife and three children.
